How we work, step by step
- Initial CCTV inspectionUsing a camera we check the flue or duct to see how much soot or grease there is and whether there are any cracks or blockages.
- Protecting the roomWe cover floors and furniture and seal the connection so that no dust escapes.
- Mechanical cleaningWe use rotary brushes and professional vacuum units. On kitchen hoods we remove and degrease the filters, the plenum and the extractor motor.
- Final CCTV inspectionWe repeat the CCTV inspection to check the result.
- Tests and checksOn request we carry out a leak test and tell you whether the flue needs relining or repair.
- Report and disposalWe leave you the job report with photos, to be entered in the system logbook or kept for fire safety and local health authority (ASL) inspections. We dispose of the soot and residues.
