Work in confined spaces: entering a tank is dangerous and must only be done by qualified staff with specialist equipment. Don't try it yourself: call us.
How we work, step by step
- Site inspectionWe check the site or the tank: type of product it holds, volume, access and whether there have been any leaks.
- EmptyingWe pump out the remaining product and sediment with the vacuum tanker and handle them as waste.
- Internal washing and cleaningWe wash the tank with specialist equipment, following the procedures for confined spaces.
- Gas-free certificateA qualified chemist measures the gases and issues a certificate stating that the tank poses no risk of explosion.
- Removal or filling with inert materialWe remove the tank or, if that is not possible, fill it with inert material and leave it safely where it is.
- Disposal and checksWe dispose of residues and scrap with a waste transfer form. If the soil turns out to be contaminated, we start the notifications and analyses required for remediation.

FAQ
Do I have to remove my old diesel tank?
Not always: often it is enough to empty it, clean it and make it inert. After the site inspection we tell you the simplest and cheapest solution for your case.
What is a gas-free certificate?
It is the document certifying that the tank no longer contains dangerous vapours. You need it to decommission the tank or to work on it safely.
